People who find themselves in toxic relationships often tend to struggle with leaving. Although they might know / feel that the relationship isn´ t healthy for them, they still feel some kind of "pull" towards it. This tends to be due to two main reasons:

We live in a day and age, where many people are taught to be very mindfull not to offend anyone, but I believe it´´ s just as important to teach individuals how to deal with being offended and to take some aboutability for it.

The vast majority of dysfunctional patterns of behaviour are simply just coping mechanisms. They are a result of our body having to cope with an unhealthy enviroment and or unmet/neglected needs.
